Hands On: X-ray Film & Sensor Placement Review

A hands-on film and sensor placement course is now offered by the Arizona Dental Foundation at its new Arizona Community Dental Clinic in Phoenix.  Small class size and personal attention with a refresher on film and sensor basics is followed by hands on practice on an x-ray typodont using portable NOMAD x-ray equipment.


This course is especially valuable for dental assistants who will be attending the Oral Radiology Review for Dental Assistants at AzDA in Scottsdale the following Saturday.

Maureen Pisano, CDA:

Maureen Pisano, CDA, was a radiology instructor for Dental Assistants at Northern Arizona University and a former department head for the Dental Assisting Program at Union Technical Institute in New Jersey. She has been a DANB Certified Dental Assistant since 1979 and served a two term Presidency of the Monmouth County component of the New Jersey Dental Assistants' Association.
