Technical expertise and great clinical skills are not enough, especially in today's challenging business climate. The sound principles and supportive systems of successful business are applicable across many disciplines, and dentistry is no exception. Join Mark as he helps us take a fresh look at the Practice, Financial and Communication systems that best practices enjoy. He will help you evaluate and choose the right ones for you through lecture, group exercises and breakout sessions.

Course Objectives: 

  • Discuss, discover and embrace a focused vision and mission for your practice
  • Understand and apply tested financial systems and metrics for various dental delivery, business models and insurance relationship
  • Identify, understand and apply YOUR key performance and key behavioral indicators to help monitor and manage the process� of YOUR practice
  • Strengthen communication skills to help patients want what we know they need, lower team stress and feel more fulfilled
  • Help patient's become less reliant on the prevalent insurance entitlement mentality

Mark Murphy, DDS, FAGD:

Dr Murphy is the Principal of Funktional Dental, a cloud base behavioral tracking software for dental teams and is Lead Faculty for Clinical Education at Microdental. He is a frequent visiting lecturer at Pankey Institute and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy. He practices general dentistry on a limited basis in Rochester, Michigan and lectures internationally on Leadership, Practice Management, Communication, Case Acceptance, Planning, Occlusion and TMD. He is an informative and entertaining speaker, blending a stand-up style of humor and anecdotes with current evidence based research that you can take home and use in your practice right away.
