"Sorry, That Doesn't Work For Me!" How to Go From Overwhelmed to Overjoyed with Better Boundaries
Do you have a hard time saying “no” without feeling guilty?
Do you feel taken advantaged of because you are so nice?
Do you feel burned-out?
Do you feel overwhelmed?
Dentists are healers and value serving others. You serve your patients, nurture your team, give to your community and of course, you support and love your family. Your generosity makes others feel special but why do you feel exhausted, stressed, and overwhelmed? These experiences show up when your boundaries are blurred or non-existent! This lecture will help you SET, PROTECT, and ACCEPT your boundaries so that you have more time for the people and the purposes you are most passionate about. You will have the tools to gain more time, money, joy, and peace by staying true to yourself while feeling compassion towards others.
This lecture will help you:
- Learn how to recognize bad boundaries in your practice and at home.
- Find confidence in setting rules and using tools to say "no" to honor yourself in your practice and at home.
- Understand how boundaries will you protect and prioritize your time.
- Take care of yourself so that your cup is full, and you have more to give.
- Discover the joy that will result when you are intentional about what is okay and not okay for you.
