Join pharmacy experts from the Arizona Department of Health Services for a deep-dive into the evolving landscape of antibiotic recommendations for common dental scenarios. Attendees will also gain practical communication strategies and tools to implement the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Core Elements of Antibiotic Stewardship, protecting both their patients and their practice from the risks of antibiotic overuse.

Speakers:

Dr. Tho H. Pham Dr. Tho H. Pham is the Antimicrobial Resistance/Antimicrobial Stewardship Lead at the Arizona Department of Health Services. She earned her PharmD from Midwestern University College of Pharmacy-Glendale Campus, followed by an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency at HonorHealth John C Lincoln Medical Center and the Infectious Diseases Translational Research Fellowship at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy-Glendale Campus. Her current interests are antimicrobial stewardship, public health, outreach/education, and dose optimization. She is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacist (SIDP), and the American Society of Microbiology (ASM).


Dr. Kelli Kronsberg Dr. Kelli Kronsberg currently serves as an Antimicrobial Stewardship and Resistance Expert at the Arizona Department of Health Services' Office of Healthcare-Associated Infections. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy in 2019, followed by PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at Mountain View Hospital. She is board-certified as a pharmacotherapy specialist and an infectious diseases pharmacist, and is also an active committee member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Her areas of interest include quality improvement, education, and multidrug-resistant organisms.
