Speaker:

Dr. Diana Batoon Dr Diana Batoon has a strong passion for sharing her knowledge and expertise on sleep, airway and craniofacial dentistry. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, she completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at University of California, San Diego and earned her doctorate degree in 1996 at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a GPR residency at VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA and has been in private practice since 1997. She maintains a general dentistry practice and a separate practice devoted to sleep, TMD and craniofacial dentistry. She built this practice of integrative dentistry where she implements a collaborative approach to optimal health. As a Diplomate for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, she is an advocate for oral appliance therapy to treat sleep apnea. With the latest technology in her office such as 3-D imaging, intraoral scanning, and CAD/CAM dentistry, she and her team can successfully treat patients of all ages.

Dr Batoon is an international speaker and clinical educator in airway, dental sleep medicine, craniofacial dentistry, laser dentistry and clear aligner therapy. Her background as a visiting lecturer at dental schools, past educator at SPEAR education and key opinion leader for several dental companies proves how much she wants to contribute to the success of her colleagues in dentistry. In addition to speaking she personally works with dental teams to implement integrative dentistry into their practices and provides one on one coaching for the doctors and ancillary medical providers. She has written several articles and is an active participant in promoting the importance of a healthy airway in her community. More importantly, she promotes a healthy lifestyle of nasal breathing, restorative sleep and proper nutrition.

Dr Batoon enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband John and her 3 sons and 2 german shepherds.
