Risk Management and Ethics: How they go hand in hand

This course will give you real world complaints, lawsuits, and adverse outcomes. It will give you a step by step guide on how you can avoid the process in the first place. The course is 3 CEU.

Course Learning Objectives:
- Learn what really happens from start to finish for board complaints, lawsuits, and adverse outcomes.
- You will learn what not to do as well as what to do to keep you and your patients safe. You have never experienced anything like it.
The handout Learning objective is to give you questions to ask yourself that give you the standard of care answers. This is what your dental board looks at to give them answers to standard of care questions.

*There is an option to purchase the Dental Consultant Manual for $100 to earn an additional 10 CEU. The American Association of Dental Boards distributed this Manual to all 50 states in March of 2021. Many states use the Manual the same way the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners use it. Dr. Dovgan will show attendees how the process works. Attendees who register for this option by Friday, October 31, 2025, will be sent a link for the manual. The manual will be available for purchase after the November 7th program as well.
