Join us for the CADS Annual Meeting + CE Program. During the Annual meeting, members will be informed of the events/activities of their component society and vote in new members to serve on the Board. 

Following the Annual Meeting will be a CE presentation,"Oral Complications of Cancer Therapy and Dental Management." given by Seena Patel, DMD.

Seena Patel, DMD:

Course objectives:

1)   Understand different treatment modalities for head and neck cancers and their effect on oral health and dental treatment.

2)   Understand oral complications of cancer treatment.

3)   Understand the necessary steps required for rendering appropriate dental care before, during, and after cancer treatment.

Dr. Seena Patel limits her practice to treating orofacial pain and oral medicine-related conditions, as well as to dental sleep medicine. She completed her residency in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the University of Southern California and obtained her DMD and MPH degrees from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health at A.T. Still University. She now serves as the Associate Director of Oral Medicine there. Dr. Patel is a Diplomate of the both the American Board of Orofacial Pain and American Board of Oral Medicine. She is the only clinician in private practice with this type of dual certification. Further, she has authored several publications and has spent a significant amount of her post-graduate training in providing dental care for patients with special needs and complex medical conditions. Dr. Patel maintains her membership in the Central Arizona Dental Society, Arizona Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Board of Orofacial Pain, American Academy of Oral Medicine, and American Board of Orofacial Pain.
