Maximize Your Practice Transition

The decision to sell a dental practice does not come easily, and the time to prepare for a transition comes sooner than most owners think.  It is essential that each owner be equipped with the knowledge necessary to make effective decisions leading up to a practice sale.  This course will outline the major components of a practice sale.  This course will outline the major components of a practice sale, and educate each owner on how they can be a proactive participant in creating a successful dental transition that fulfills their own personal vision.

 

Learning objectives:

How to avoid common pitfalls in leaded or owned real estate.

How to obtain a proper valuation of a practice.

How to prepare for a successful practice transition.

Tanner Milne:

Tanner Milne, MBA, is President/Designated Broker at Menlo Group Commercial Real Estate. He has been involved in commercial real estate development and brokerage since 2003.  He has facilitated and negotiated projects and transactions with values in excess of $500 Million, and has carried projects from site acquisition to final close out.  After earning a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, Mr. Milne went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. 

Rich Andrus, MBA, is Senior Vice President of Menlo Group Commercial Real Estate.  He specializes in the sales and leasing of office and investment properties throughout the state of Arizona, with an emphasis in medical and dental tenant/buyer and landlord/seller representations.  Mr. Andrus graduated from Utah State University with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing and dual minor in Economics and Spanish.  Additionally, he graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Masters in Business Administration.

Mark Haslip, MBA, is Vice President of Menlo Group Commercial Real Estate.  He specializes in the sales and leasing of office and investment properties, with an emphasis in medical and dental tenant/buyer and landlord/seller representation.  He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah, majoring in Psychology.  He then went on to graduate from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Master’s in Business Administration.

Matt Porter, MBA, Principle, Menlow Dental Transitions.  Mr. Porter has a financial background and experience that includes consulting, accounting, tax strategy and preparing tax returns for individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation.  He graduated in the top 10% of his class at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's of Science and a minor in business.  He later continued his education by receiving a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University, again graduating in the top 10% of his class.
