Action to Win:  Dentistry Leaders

Participants of this special program will walk away with an incredible amount of information that you can implement in both your professional and personal life.  Through a slightly-longer-than Ted Talk format and along with panel discussions, you will hear 10+ speakers covering such topics as personal and business finances, improving leadership abilities, practice management gems and a myriad of clinical subjects that will perfect your talents as a dentist.  In addition, the program will feature well-known personal and financial expert, Sharon Lechter, speaking about, “Your Money, Your Business, Your Life.” Sharon and her husband, Michael Lechter, have launched several successful businesses right from their dining room table, including the Rich Dad Company, TechPress Inc and Pay Your Family First.

 

Other speakers include:  Drs. Delia Tuttle, Diana Batoon, Allison House, John Flucke, Lisa Knowles and Anastasia Turchetta, RDH, who will cover topics such as:  how to become a speaker on the dental circuit; performing surgeries in office, technology “must-haves”, and sleep apnea. (Possible additional speakers may include Dr. Howard Farran.)

 

This will be a day filled with critical tips you can’t find anywhere else.  Spend a day with these experts and feel empowered as a dentist and as an individual.

Emily Letran, DDS:

Elizabeth Fleming, DDS, is an experienced comprehensive and family dentist who has managed her private practice in Phoenix, AZ for over 30 years.  Her multi-year tenure as Chair of the Council of the AzDA that engages and books speakers for the Western Regional Dental Experience spurred her into becoming a speaker herself, as well as to form Quality Dental Voices Speaker's Bureau.  Working outside of private practice, she has been Clinical Director for Dentaltown Magazine from 2013-2015, where she became proficient in editing, writing and recruiting authors for the publication.  As an industry leader, Dr. Fleming continues to review dental products for the Publication, Dental Product Shopper.

Emily Letran, DDS, is a general dentist who owns two multi-specialty group practices in Southern California.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Riverside (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) in three years. She is a graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry (Dean’s Apollonian Scholarship) and received her Master of Science in Oral Biology from UCLA during the same four years. Dr Letran is the author of several books. She is also a Certified High Performance Coach, dedicated in helping business professionals maximize their potential in personal and business life, streamline business and increase profits, winning back time from work so they can enjoy that time with their family, children and pursue their passion

Gina Dorfman, DDS, graduated from the University of California Dental School in 2000.  In addition to being the mother of two energetic children, Dr. Dorfman runs a busy practice in Southern California and is the co-founder of YAPI, an innvoative practice communication software program

John Flucke, DDS, has a private practive in Lee's Summit, Missouri, serves as Technology Editor for Dental Products Report, as well as Chief Dental Edutor where he writes, edits and makes videos of products featured in his "Technology Evangelist" columns.  Dr. Flucke lectures extensively on all aspects of clinical dentistry and leading-edge technology across the US and abroad.  He is also past president of the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, as well as having served as the Missouri State Peer Review Committee

Lisa Knowles, DDS, speaks and writes broadly about dentistry-beyond the teeth-and works to help others understand the oral and systemic connections between dentistry and medicine.  Her experience as a general practice resident, associate, practice owner, adjunct professor and communications graduate lends valuable insight into her business, IntentionalDental Consulting - a business that helps professionals recognize and resolve foundational communication conflicts, increase their efficiencies, and improve work/life balance

Anastasia Turchetta, RDH, is a health empowerment conversationalists with 30 years in the healthcare profession.  She has been on YouTube everyweek since 2009, contributed to consumer-faced publications such as Romper, She Knows, Reviews.com and Bustle and Speaker Magazine in addition to industry publications.  Her addiction to coffee lead her to brand Cofee Chat™ with Anastasia, a talk show feel that delivers rich content sound bites served up LIVE or a video blog format.  Her programs share how to align your emotional, physical and fnancial health, lead a more productive life, successfully take the wheel and pick a lane to thrive in it.

Grace Yum Zimmerman, DDS often appears on television, online and in print to share her expertise including The TODAY Show, Good Morning America, NBC Chicago and Parents Magazine.  She has an active presence on social media, where she brings together patients, their parents, other dentists and working moms.  Dr. Yum earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, where she studied communications.  She earned her DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Delia Tuttle, DDS, is a dual trained dental professional who was first practicing physician before she fell in love with dentistry and became the owner of a private practice in Califorina.  She teached the Gum Drop Technique, an advanced root coverage procedure using biological factors A-PRF and I-PRF, as well as other surgical and non-surgical dental procedutres.  Dr. Tuttle's passion for medicine led her toward the surgical aspect of dentistry, including performing soft tissue engineering using the patient's own blood derivatives.  She has also developed an international movement empowering women in the dental efield call Divas in Dentistry, which has members from around the world.

Diana Batoon, DDS, with her combined passion and knowledge she challenges all of us in the dental and medical community to collaborate with each other to provide optimum health care to our patients.  Sleep Disordered Breathing affects people of all ages and can cause more serious issues late on in adult life.  No only does Dr. Batoon have the ability to influence others about the importance of identifying sleep issues among all walks of life, she has a proactive way of motivating children, parents, loved-ones and all those involved to pay attention to clues that something else in our health is happening.

Dr. Allison House currently owns a solo practice in Phoenix.  She is diligent about keeping up-to-date with continuing education including the Pankey Institute and the Spears Education Center.  Dr. House is Past President of the Arizona Dental Association.  In fact, she was the youngest ever to serve in this capacity and the fourth women to hold this office.  Dr. House is on the ADA Success Speaker's cirucuit where she lectures to dental students about ethics in dentistry.  She is a member of the Central Arizona Dental Society and Board member of the Arizona Dental Foundation.  She volunteers every year for the Arizona Mission of Mercy at Phoenix's Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
