This program is open to dental assistants only.

Space is limited to 30 assistants.

Did you forget to take that pre-op impression before the doctor prepped for that three-unit bridge?  Did your patient just walk into the office on a busy day with a broken front tooth, and needs a temporary NOW?  Did we seriously just run out of mixing tips for the temp material?  What will you do when disaster strikes in the dental office?  No Problem, because in your arsenal you have all the skills that you learned in Temps & Beyond.  In this course you will learn how to make temporary crowns, bridges, and even dentures, free-hand and from scratch.  You will leave this course with the ability to make a flipper in your office in under an hour, completely on your own, without sending to a lab, and without any assistance from the doctor Think you know Temps....well it's time to go way, way beyond...

Learning objectives:

  • To expand and develop clinical temporary-making skills and apply them to new and unique situations.
  • Learn techniques which you will immediately be able to implement in your office.
  • Learn how to provide the best possible care for your patients, without help from the doctor.

Save $70 on the course fee by joining AzDA as an Allied Member.

Dr. David Frausto and Dr. Andrew Zeiger:

David Frausto, DDS, owns and operates four dental practices in Arizona. He currently serves on the Arizona Dental Association’s Board of Trustees. He also serves on the AzDA’s Council on Annual Session. Dr. Frausto strongly believes that assistants should be trained and able to perform duties to the maximum that state laws will allow, and that even the most loyal and trusting patients would rather be taken care of by their caring dental assistant than actually see the doctor.

Schedule:

8:30-9:00am - Registration & Continental Breakfast
9:00-Noon - Lecture
