This course takes a vulnerable and transparent look at connecting with patients and team members on a deeper level, as well as getting a rare glimpse into what the dentist is really thinking and wrestling with (even identifying the dentist's unspoken needs).

The truth is, connecting with your patients is the key to finding out what they need and want. That's vital because you cannot motivate your patients to be healthy if you don't know what is important to them! When you listen and connect with your patients, they will start caring about their oral health, and your practice makes money (and you make more as a dental team member). When you listen and connect with your dental team and your dentist(s) all of you feel more fulfillment. This learning opportunity is a completely honest and interactive look and group discussion on how you can find more fulfillment at work and make more money doing what you love.

Learning objectives:

Learn how to connect with patients and other dental team members in your office more personal, deeper level.

Facilitate ways that your dentist becomes comfortable sharing what she/he needs with you.

Gain a clearer insider's look at how the dentist really thinks.

Discuss what approaches, tone, and specific phrases best resonate with patients.
