An Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society inductee and recipient of the Horace Wells Award by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, he then went on to complete an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Swigert finds true joy in serving his referring doctors and patients in his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery private practice, River Rock Oral Surgery, which serves the Tri-State area.
