Course Description:

An important business decision any dentist makes is whether or not to sign a PPO agreement. There are many considerations a dentist should take into account before signing. This presentation will discuss common contractual clauses within third-party payer contracts and their potential financial implications on a dental practice. These include most favored nation, affiliate carrier, recoupment clauses and more. In addition, dentists will receive information on:
  • Questions to ask before signing an agreement
  • Available ADA resources
  • How to receive assistance
ADA leadership continues to hear your feedback on these issues and has taken action to assist dental offices with dental benefit issues. This presentation is another of the many tactics we are employing as part of our coordinated communications plan on dental benefits and third party issues. We look forward to your participation.
